Hodge71 665 #1 Posted December 20, 2011 Anyone know the number of the belt that goes from the engine PTO to the drive pulley for the rear PTO on a 18 auto/ D series. It looks to be a pretty short belt. Mines gone and I'd like to replace it with a new one and get the rear PTO operational again. Any info on how to install it would be greatly appreciated too... wh79d160 52 #2 Posted December 20, 2011 WH #103084. I'm sure it's not the correct way, but I just put it in the top pully & stretch it over the bottom while turning the bottom pully. Good luck :)
Trouty56 567 #3 Posted December 20, 2011 Jeff, it is a 5/8 X 38 inch belt. NAPA part number 5L380K is the cross reference if there are no Toro dealers close to you. There is an adjustment bolt under the front bearing support.
bobert94 38 #4 Posted December 20, 2011 both the front and mid bearing flanges need to be loosened before the front bearing adjuster is tightened to set the belt tension properly
