joel_400 59 #1 Posted December 18, 2011 So i have two old style snowblowers and a bunch of new style attach a matic tractors . since i couldn't locate a bracket i ended up building what i needed. i must add it was so simple a caveman. could do it! i used some old mower deck brackets from the junk pile and was even able to scavenger the rod to attach from the old deck. the brackets had the exact bend my neighbors blower had so we took measurements and i drilled four holes in each side cut the rod to fit and welded it together. Then I assembled it using the original belt and tensioner. Even the belt was the correct length! i will post pics as soon as i can get it out to get o good one. Its been a damp year in nw Ohio! wingrider 21 #2 Posted December 18, 2011 :twocents-02cents: Hey Joel While making some brackets to fit in the front attach o matic I ran across some old bad tie rods, if you cut them off at the ball joint they fit perfectly into the front hitch. So it you have old tie rods laying around keep that in mind. These tractors are sometimes so easy to repair or modify buy using old worn out parts.
