Hi,I,m trying to find a wiring diagram for my 1968 Charger 12 with a generator/starter.

The early-production S/G-equipped '68 12hp Chargers & Raiders used "leftover" 1967 engines and the tractors were basically wired the same as the '67 models.

I already had this 1067/1267 diagram scanned, and it should work for your Charger:

Thank you TT.Mine also has a starter soleniod bloted on the left side.Has it been modified? I know very little about electrical stuff so I apologize if thats a silly question.Thanks again,Scott.

No - there shouldn't be a starter solenoid. The starter motor circuit was originally routed directly through a high-amperage ignition switch.

Since the original OEM #4988 switch (and equivalent replacement) is moderately expensive, many are replaced by a "light-duty" switch / separate solenoid arrangement. (just like the newer tractors)
