HorseFixer 2,013 #1 Posted December 4, 2011 Had a Vistitor Today Scotty Moreau he was on his way to pick up a tractor and he paid me a visit. He brought me a 2" Reciever Hitch that he made and we installed it. Had a very nice visit and I showed him my stable & Shop, and visited for a few Hours. Here is a Video of the Hitch at work and am very happy with it. Scotty great seeing you again, we will have to do that again soon! Cheers ~Duke

reecie 3 #3 Posted December 4, 2011 Duke, Very nice!!! Thanks for sharing. I'm sure that's going to come in very handy. I particularly like the tight turning radius. Can't beat that. Happy Holiday's backatcha, Maurice

DoctorHfuhruhurr 137 #5 Posted December 4, 2011 Have you considered lowering the wheeled trailer jack? You could lower it so that it's near the ground but not touching so that it would act as a wheelie bar should the font end of the tractor lift suddenly. Or maybe lowering the wheeled trailer jack all the way to put less stress on the tractor. (or not)
dgoyette 12 #6 Posted December 4, 2011 Cool video Duke. Those hitches are solid! That is one NICE 417 you have!!!!
AMC RULES 37,210 #7 Posted December 4, 2011 I can easily see how you'll be pulling into the shows from now on. You better get that tractor registered for highway use.
HorseFixer 2,013 #8 Posted December 4, 2011 Have you considered lowering the wheeled trailer jack? Or maybe lowering the wheeled trailer jack all the way to put less stress on the tractor. (or not) Dr. H, I think that I see at left a #5 PreMolar that needs fixin in yer smile. On the wheel thing No need for a Wheelie Bar or lowering of the Wheel cause the front end is fine now. The wheel on those are plastic and the less they can come in contact with the pavement the better. And Im not worried about stress cause after all. Its a WHEEL HORSE of COURSE! varosd 1,185 #9 Posted December 4, 2011 Forget the "Straight Story" !!! How about " Coming to a theater near you, The Horsefixer Story...a facinating story about man and his passion for Wheel Horses, see him ride from Niles, MI to Arendtsville, PA on his tractor" Duke, that setup looks great!
