Forest Road 594 #1 Posted December 4, 2011 I'd like to replace my 6-12 ags with something wider. I have a set of rims which currently have 23x8.5 tires. Does anyone know how wide a tire I can put on that rim and keep the tread flat? The narrow footprint I have now just digs a hole when the plows get loaded up. Hopefully the wider print will float a bit. Thanks Kevin
Irv 115 #2 Posted December 4, 2011 You can put Up to 23x10.5 on the stock 7" rims (which I have on a couple tractors, both turf and ag) and they seem ok to me but some of the guys say the 10.5 wide tires are a bit flatter on 8.5" rims.
