71_Bronco 1,072 #1 Posted November 27, 2011 Was surfin Ebay tonight, and came across an RJ-58 on there. On thing that really spiked my interest about it, was the fact that it has a circular lift height adjuster on it, similar to the Suburbans. I looked through the picture section on here and have not come across another RJ with this feature. Was this an aftermarket ad-on? Or a factory option? Has anybody even seen this before? grnlark 490 #3 Posted November 27, 2011 Definitely a home built add-on.
wallfish 18,226 #4 Posted November 27, 2011 I have an RJ with the selector option welded on. It has the traits of a 59 with newer parts like the selector and a solid seat pan. I believe these were an option for the RJs that was offered after the suburbans came out. If it wasn't offered as an option then RJ owners could also just buy the parts and do their own upgrade or make one like they did in the pic.

This on is advertised as a RJ-58, and there is a pic of the tag that says RJ-58 in the listing. So by the sounds of it, it is a home-brew addition, but made from later model parts?
