Head Gasket...

Recommended Posts

Have you guys ever seen a head gasket do this before??? What do you think caused it?

It's off my 753 and I knew it needed a gasket because it was blowing a little oil by.

Wow, I would check to see if the heads warped. were all the head bolts tight? Kohler wants the carbon removed and head gasket replace every ? hours, maybe this is why :dunno:

It is for sure burned up, like Scott said check the head, heck I'd be checking the block with that much blow by.

I believe annually or every 500 hours is the official recommendation.

The crazy thing is that the compression ring portion is not damaged. Only the outside. Looks more like an aluminum eating virus. bd27f998.gif
