varosd 1,185 #6 Posted November 25, 2011 Looks like Winter is here! Seriously, your setup looks great, that single stage is awesome. Even coming up the driveway, you look like you have great traction and power! Gravel driveway? My ST isnt hooked up yet,but auger is freshly painted and I had to "repair" a set of plastic rear wheel weights. The plastic had some gashes in them from PO and some of the metal shavings were coming out. I used low exspansion foam to fill in the void and it worked great! KC9KAS 4,741 #7 Posted November 25, 2011 That snow chucker is really doing a great job! As I sat here watching the video and the wife was watching, she said the snow-blower was doing a fine job, but "the wife freezing her a$$ off shooting the video should get some credit!" Women! nylyon-(Admin) 7,130 #9 Posted November 25, 2011 It does throw it nicely. I just put my "short" shoot blower on my 416-H today along with my 2-link chains. Last year I neglected to put the blower onto the 416 and after a couple snow's I was unable to get it out of the shed. Not gonna happen this year. Still have to change the tires on the plowing tractor. Great video's
dgoyette 12 #10 Posted November 26, 2011 Thanks for the comments guys. It is a gravel driveway. I had to have the shoes set up to the highest to keep from throwing rocks. We have all this snow and the ground isn't even frozen yet!! Karl - I do remember last year you commenting on not having the blower and regretting it because of running out of room to put snow. Glad to hear it is going to be hooked up this year.
