tbbahner 27 #1 Posted November 22, 2011 Hi all. I've got a couple blades - 96-42bc01 and 6-4113. A guy wants to buy them for a Workhorse 700 and a Commando 8. I don't want to sell unless they'll work for him. I believe the 4113 will work fine but not sure about the newer one. Also, anything special I need to know about the axel brackets? Kelly 1,028 #2 Posted November 22, 2011 Both of those blades are basicly the same, they should have the movable rear bar, newer blades they welded the bar in the rear hole, but for a short frame tractor you move the bar to the forward hole, a new style axle bracket should work, but not 100% on that, if you use a old style bracket, you will need put the clips that hold the rear bar in place on the inside of the plow frame, as the old style brackets mount on the outside of the plow frame not the inside like the new brackets do.
