have a 62 lawn ranger with a h60 would like to know the part number for the starter Solenoid

A '62 Lawn Ranger should have used the high-amp ignition switch without a solenoid.

Google Stens 435-008, 435-032, or 435-097 for a few different versions that might work in your application.

I apologize...... I typed "ignition" switch when I meant to say starter switch. It's the one that looks similar to the old floor-mount dimmer switches from "back in the day".

It's slightly visible in this picture of a 32E I once owned:

ya i see what u mean those holes were cover by my id decal an the a half inch hole was used lower in the tower for a 2 prong key dose this mean mine is rear or somthing lol cas the tin on engin have decals that are veary strange an hard to make out an i cant figger out what decals they are

Rare? - not really. Wrong? - not necessarily. A converted 32R? - highly probable.

The 32R was the recoil-start version and should have had an HT55C 3088 (Tecumseh) Lauson 5.5hp engine. It would have had just the single-wire key switch in the small hole below the hole for the starter button.

The 32E would have had an HT55C 3089 (Tecumseh) Lauson 5.5hp engine:

Now that you see "Lauson", does that help with what's on the engine decal?
