Any Record of Production Numbers?

So.... Is there any?

I am curious as to how many of these tractors were made, especially the older ones like the RJ's and Suburbans.

Nobody knows. Records were sketchy and handwritten, many years were lost. Toro has some of the records that they acquired when they bought the company, but they don't share that information. It's not "their" product, so they won't talk to you about details like that.

Supposedly about 22,000 Rj-58/59s though... that's the rumor. never heard a number on Suburbans.

Oh... and you can't really backtrack the serial numbers because they didn't necessarily run in order... and the factory mixed model productions on the lines (in other words... they might have made 30 ST-400s and then 10 ST-550s, then 25 more ST-400s, and so on...)... oh... and they started over on serial numbers at least twice. :dunno:
