darren 49 #1 Posted November 3, 2011 Can anyone tell me what size these are please? I've inherited a K241AS but a part of one of the mounting lugs on the flywheel is broken. I'm planning to jb-weld some threaded rod of the right size into what's left, but first I need to figure out the thread.. Darren
big mike 13 #2 Posted November 3, 2011 Darren,I believe those are a sheet metal screw type thread not a machine thread.

Martin 2,133 #4 Posted November 3, 2011 actually, i think you will find they are 1/4-20 nc. not sure about later engines but what i have (k241 and 301)ranges from 64 to 72 and they are all 1/4-20.
darren 49 #5 Posted November 3, 2011 Thanks Martin, I'll double-check. Happily enough I have some 1/4-20 bolts coming for something else because they're one size I don't have in the garage. I'll try one for size :dunno:
