Doubletrouble 10 #1 Posted October 31, 2011 I can't seem to find my original post since all the website issues so I thought I would just start a new one with pics as promised. This is my '79 C-111 I will be mounting a plow to this one sometime soon to help with the snow removal. Any thoughts or comments? Enjoy !

Sparky-(Admin) 23,277 #4 Posted November 1, 2011 Thats a nice, straight, original lookin machine ya got! Do the headlights stay at full brightness or is the brightness regulated by the RPM's? I know the Briggs engines have a differant charging setup from the Kohlers. Mike.....

Doubletrouble 10 #8 Posted November 9, 2011 Thanks guys I've enjoyed working and playing on it. I hate to say it but I'm looking forward to snow to see how she does plowing. Once I get the plow mounted I'll post some more pics. It isnt a WH plow so some custom fab will need to be done.

TT-(Moderator) 1,162 #11 Posted December 4, 2011 Very nice! I used a GT-1100 with a 48" blade for a few seasons and from my personal experience, you'll find that the front end tends to push sideways more when the blade is angled. (because of the lighter engine) It's totally up to you, but you might want to "load" the tires and/or install front weights. When the snow was deep, I straight-bladed everything I could and did the clean up with the blade angled.

Doubletrouble 10 #13 Posted December 5, 2011 I finally got the plow mounted over the weekend. I took a couple pics while it was parked in the garage but the lighting was horrible so I will have to get her outside to snap a few more. I did discover that the plow I have is a sears and robuck. The model number is on the id tag.
