smokin joe 31 #1 Posted October 23, 2011 Pulled out the Gt 14's today and mounted up the one bottom plows.Tried them out in the corn field and decided my next project is adding weight to the front of them.Kinda had a hard time keeping them straight. Also since this is a discontinued tire size on the rears what size are the ag tires I need? JimD 3,347 #2 Posted October 23, 2011 I have no idea on the tire size Joe, but that is one dandy pair of GT 14's you have there. :dunno:

CRE1992 135 #5 Posted October 24, 2011 You should still be able to get the same size tires in R4's I dont know about ags.., they are an industrial tire. I have them on a JD 790 and they are nice in the field, however they tend to slip in the snow. -Charles
JUSS10 250 #6 Posted October 24, 2011 miller tire sells an "implement traction" tire that is a 7.6 x 15. its an american farmer tire and only cost $100 a piece. its the cheapest tire i could find in the 15" wheel. i know there was a 1054 for sale a little while back with them on it. i plan to pick up a set for my 1054A once funds allow. Great looking pair of tractors by the way!
wheelhorse656 20 #7 Posted October 24, 2011 Sweet tractors Joe!! They would look very narly with AG's on the back! Any way we can get a video or some actions shots? :wh:
oldnugly 2 #8 Posted October 24, 2011 Joe, the rear tires on my 953 are the same as on your GT-14's (nice tractorsBTW). My tires are marked: "Goodyear---Made in Canada---6.70-15". When I first read the size, I did a double take. I put 6.70-15's on a couple of my cars back in the 50's! Don't know if the Goodyears are still around but others are. smokin joe 31 #9 Posted October 25, 2011 Once I get the plows adjusted right I'll get some action shots...Mike can you come over and run the camera? :dunno:
boatman 3 #10 Posted November 3, 2011 :dunno: Nice looking gt-14's there. I have a Gt-14 that I built a front end loader on. I can not find any tractor bar treads in the 15" that are not to big around on the outside diameter. Even from miller tire. So you better ck outside diameter before ordering any. However you can buy 15" skid steer tires that do come in !5" and are the right size on the outside diameter. Good luck
