liketoplayto 6 #1 Posted October 18, 2011 Ok where do i find the size of the drive belt size for 416-8 with onan engine? I called toro and they said belt size was 112 inches and half inch the one im looking at that i took off is around 70 inches and 5/8 thick i believe belt number that i could find was 7473 but dont give me a size thanks apreciate the help Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,512 #2 Posted October 18, 2011 According to service bulletin Toro91-presGT #GT01 1989-90 Twin 8-speed Drive Belts the original belt is # 107939 (HBx83.5") and in some case it was found to be too long. They list belt number 79-2500 (HBx83") as being 1/2" shorter and a fix. B belts are 5/8" wide. The models affected are 1989 416-8 model 31-16O801 1990 416-8 model 31-16O802 1990 520-8 model 41-20O801 Garry Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
liketoplayto 6 #3 Posted October 18, 2011 thank you been trying to find it i came up with a 83 and an 84 inch purchased an 82 inch cause someone said it fit and way to short clutch pedal wont come back up so i called toro they came up with a 112 inch by 1/2 inch belt so i have no idea where they pulled that out of there butts i knew that was wrong and i even asked that if we were talking same belt and he said says drive belt so i said thanks and came in here so thanks i figured 84 mite be little to long after it stretches little so i was wondering on 83 thanks again wes Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
