K181 question

ok i am going threw the process of rebuilding my k181 kohler. Ok so the how do the bearing plate gaskets work?i got like 4 or five thin red gaskets and one thick black gasket. do i use all the gaskets? or just 1 or 2 and how do they go?

Jordan the thin gaskets are used to set your end play of the crank. It explains this in the kohler engine manual. end play for the K-181 is .003/.023 which I took right out of my Chilton's small engine manual. I hope this helps..
