It's incomplete, but a front-mounted dozer-blade I'm guessing

Edited to add: Gotta love the Yahoo groups.. After trawling through the huge variety of plows I *think* it's a 16-42BL02 front mounted 42" snowplow (less the hanger for the front tach-a-matic). I'm still not 100% sure though.

I'm going to say it's a 06-42BR01 ~ which fits mid/late 80's rear engine riders. (like a 111-5, etc.)

Your encyclopedic knowledge never ceases to impress TT I'd go with that, the model number seems to vary slightly over 3 or 4 plows but they seem to be essentially the same, looking at the manuals.

my brother has just done a really nice modification to one of these so it hangs from the front and rear tachomatics. Lift mechanism is from the deck lever and the pivot runs through the front hitch.

I'll get some pics up asap!
