I saw this April 14, 1974 advertisement in a copy of the Milwaukee Journal -Sunday Edition which is online for archive purposes.

It is a very interesting ad as it has a special offer on a B-100 Automatic with mower deck for the price of $1480.00!

The ad also has a list of dealers next to the main ad item from throughout southern Wisconsin.

Each dealer box listed has the location, hours and a phrase in the ad I have note seen used by Wheel Horse before :

" 4 Seasons of Wheel Horse power"

A list of other implements with description and Model Numbers is attached with prices as of 1974.

The ad has a box on the bottom with a series of implments from A to H with model number and price listed and makes the following statement:

" Get a pencil ...and write your own deal now!

I have not seen any similar ads from old newspapers and thought it was worth posting on Red Square.

Also of note there are other ads for Bolens, Sears Suburban and other vehicles from 1974 throughout the newspaper.

My 1977 B-100 8-speed came with a 36" RD mower, and dump cart. Original owner added a 48" snow plow in 1990. Original cost for everything was $1800.00. I bought it from the original owner in 1993 for $850.00.
