carb float

how hard is it to adfjust the carb float on a magnum 12 . changed all the fuel line , new fuel filter , and new spark plug . still spitting fuel out of the carb . it runs for alittle bit and then floods it self out . after about 2 mins

You should probably get a rebuild kit for the carb. The needle seat could be worn so adjusting the tabs might not solve the problem. There could also be a piece of dirt/rubber/debris in the carb creating a problem.

There is tons of info online about Kohler carbs. Watch a video on YouTube so you know whats involved before you try it.

A carb rebuild isn't as daunting as it sounds. I've muddled through a couple and the motors still run - even better! Well worth giving it a try, as Pipes suggests.....

found some dirt and clogs in the carb . but also found some water in the fuel bowl. hopefully i fixed it with cleaning the tank new hoses and redoion the carb.

just ripped the carb apart and cleaned it real good and run like a champ now . thanks guys
