Raider12 13 #3 Posted October 4, 2011 Hey, that is a sweet machine! Does the cab go on and off very easy? That is sooo sweet!
RedMaine 1 #4 Posted October 4, 2011 The cab took about 10 minutes to take off.. 2 bolts under the seat, 2 screws near the hood latch and 2 clamps on each side.. little tricky to get it off intact, but with 2 people it would be a snap..
CasualObserver 3,411 #5 Posted October 4, 2011 That is a very nice looking setup! Thanks for the pictures. I don't know if you're interested, but those cabs can usually be upgraded with solid front windshields that can use a wiper. Just send an email or call Original Cab for details. wh500special 2,277 #6 Posted October 4, 2011 Looks nice! A LOT nicer than either of mine It's kind of neat to see the same 42" RD deck stamping WH used for so many years be carried over onto the newest equipment. I guess you don't get off a winning horse... Steve

HankB 16 #21 Posted October 8, 2011 It's kind of neat to see the same 42" RD deck stamping WH used for so many years be carried over onto the newest equipment. I have the same deck on my '97 314-H. Like the one in the picture, it also has a steel rod along the bottom front and side edges of the deck. Between that and the recycler insert, I can hardly lift it. It's a beast! It must weigh close to 100 lb. The 520 Xi looks like a pretty nice tractor too. Doesn't get mentioned here much but those who have anything from that series seem to be happy. My son had a blue one (Ford branded version of this one I think) and he liked it. The only disadvantage I'm aware of is that attachments are not compatible with the C/3/4/5xx series and that makes them a little harder to come by.
