Coadster32 793 #2 Posted October 4, 2011 There is an adjustment that you can make to the brake band to time out the idler pully from un-tensioning the belt, and when the break grabs. You need a belt guard in place as well, as this helps with not throwing the belt when the clutch is pressed. I also put a "finger", (bend bracket) on the idler pully to help with this scenario. The problem isn't with the trans. itself. The sizes for the seal are 1"ID, 1.25 OD. You can just go to napa, kaman, skf, mcmaster carr, to get the seals. They are readily avail. Good luck.
