C-120 Automatic shift lever mechanism disassembly

Gentlemen,

How do you disassemble this? I have removed the retainer bolt outside, and have soaked the shaft running thru with marvel mystery oil for a couple weeks now. Shaft won't come out.

i had to drive mine out from the belt side of the tractor,i heated up the outer shaft a bit too

I got it out. It has rusted about 3" of the length of the shaft. After soaking in Marvel Mystery Oil for 3 weeks now, I kept rotating the threaded sleeve part while the shaft was still bolted to the center console. I tried to keep working it back and forth (rotating). I ended up leaving it in a place that seemed to have the least resistence, and with small sledgehammer and punch eventually got it out. That was not easy and a bit nerve wracking.
