jcb857 161 #4 Posted September 25, 2011 The two wheel tractor started production in april 1948 with a briggs and stratton 2 hp 0r 3 hp engine. In 1953 they had a 2 hp or 3 hp engine and you could choose between a briggs and stratton, clinton, and pioneer engine. In 1954 you could choose between 2 hp brigg and stratton model 6 or clinton 700 series, 2 1/2 hp briggs and stratton model 8, 3 hp clinton 1100 series, and 3 1/2 hp kohler k-90. In 1955 and 1956 you could have a 2 1/2 or 3 1/2 hp engine. 1956 was the last year for the walk-away. Hope this helps I am sure others will help out also.
