Case and Colt

I saw tickster mention that he's interested in Case... thought I'd share these. The collection belongs to my uncle's father-in-law, a retired farmer. He has an entire machine shed full of just his tractor collection... not the equipment that is still used on the farm. I tried to do a panoramic of the collection, I took these a few years ago before I had a digital camera (so sorry for the quality) I plan to get over there again sometime soon, and maybe get some better shots. Enjoy. --jason

Yep...that exactly how I pictured my garge looking in a few years...LOL

Thanks for shareing...thats a heck of a nice collection there!

I had a Case 210 for a while...but I want a true hydraulic drive Case & the 210 was a gear box.

I seen a 155 at the show..thats more what I'm looking into...155/195.

The more rounded lines with the eagle out front.

I also recently brought home an AC Big 10.

Good to have some color in the collection I guess.

That is a lot of tractors... Ingersoll is Case right? A while I wrote to Bob Jensen at Ingersoll about their web site (they were calling their tractors "Lawn Tractors" can't have that now can we...) Anyway he sent me this little bit if information:

I also have a background with Wheel Horse and although they would be a competitor, I am sorry to see that Toro has discontinued this tractor line.

I also know that at one time, Toro looked at buying Ingersoll to have a step up tractor to the Wheel Horse.

Oh the things that could have been!

Is the guy who owns all the Case/Colt tractors the same guy that was featured in Lawn and garden Collectors Magazine?
