spark949 24 #1 Posted September 14, 2011 The inner shaft on my PTO cone is very sloppy and make alot of noise when engaged. It's on my 520h (new to me). I'm wondering what cones on other models might fit. For instance I'm looking at these. http://www.wheelhorseforum.com/index.php?showtopic=29798 thanks, Fred
rmaynard 16,299 #2 Posted September 14, 2011 The inner shaft is your crankshaft. It is covered with a sleeve or more properly stated, bearing race. The inner needle bearing (Toro P.N. 106769) rides on that. The inner bearings go bad. You might want to try replacing that and the outer bearing as well. Between the two of them, you will pay about $20.00 plus shipping. Be careful buying used as they may also need to be rebuilt. The two PTO cones in the other thread were taken from a couple of B-80's if I am not mistaken. They should be the same as your 520-H.

Duff 206 #4 Posted February 6, 2013 http://www.jackssmallengines.com/searchdb2.cfm The price has gone up a bit (?) since this thread was started back in 2011, but the parts are still available. 6658 is the race - $43.44 106769 is the large needle bearing - $22.12 Duff
