MaineDad 87 #1 Posted September 2, 2011 Guys: I am about to reassemble the K301 since I had new guides installed. I will do a write up on that later. The question I have is what ring goes on top on the piston? The thicker one or the thinner one? These rings have about one hour run time on them and I know one is chrome, but I cannot tell which one is the chrome one anymore. I tried to wipe away the carbon to see, but was not sure.
