kw7475030509 0 #1 Posted August 20, 2011 :banghead: Does anyone have a wiring diagram for a K91? I know it should be fairly simple, but I'm new to this stuff. When I got the tractor it had a wire hanging that I assumed was to the kill switch. I'm not quite sure how it should all be put together. I have three wires from the condenser. One to the coil. One to the points and the one that is going no where. I was assuming the kill switch stopped working so it was detached from it sometime in the past. Any pointers, diagrams, thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks! :thumbs2:
TT-(Moderator) 1,162 #2 Posted August 20, 2011 What you have is correct, but make sure none of the wires are rubbed through causing them to contact metal. Looks like you're working on a 400 Suburban, correct? There should be an insulated grounding screw mounted on the side of the control lever bracket toward the front. The kill wire from the engine would attach to that screw. By placing the throttle control in the "stop" position, (bottom part of lever moves forward) it should contact the screw and ground out the magneto.
