difference between B-80 and C-100

Recommended Posts

We only really ever see B-81 and B-111 here, so I can't say I've ever looked at and B-80.

Can anyone tell me the difference between the B-80/100 and C-100/120.

They look identical to me but for B series appear to be 8/10 hp. Manuals appear to show same chassis/tinwork/transmission.

Am I missing something?

Did the C-81/C-101 supercede the B-80 and B-100 ?

thanks

has anybody got a picture of the two side by side? Seems in terms of spec the B-100 was a gap filler until C-101.

Are they rare?

Some of the B-80 tractors had 4-speed transmissions. Not sure which years did what, but it's something to keep in mind.

I think the C-81 came out in 1978, and it was the same thing as a 101/121 for the most part, just with a smaller engine. All of the mechanical tranny versions used 8 speeds.
