520H What were the last years made?

I was wondering what was the last year they made the 520H & 520-8? I know that they added the swept front axle and then they added the gear reduction front steering. But for how many years? Any year better than the others? Or maybe years to stay away from?

1997 was the last year of the 520-H's....I believe the 520-8 was only made in 1990

I would go for a new as one as you can find!!! :woohoo:

1990 was the first forward swept axle.

1991 was the first gear reduction steering.

1990 was the first column mounted motion control lever.

That Master List is awesome! I have queried the Toro Parts Viewer 2 trying to find the various models I am interested in. What a great time saver and aid to better understanding when and what models were produced :woohoo:

There is also a master list on RedSquare in the WH picture gallery.

Maybe more would be aware of it if it were "pinned" in Wheel Horse Tractors

or had it's own title/section visible from the main page.

@ Mr. Pipes.. The exception on the front swept axle is the 520HC had them prior to 90 as mine is an 1988 .
