Somone named Ed sent me a personal note on Red Square email but did not give me his email for response. Here were the questions:

sorry to bother you again started work on my tractors and could use some help. do you have part #s and a source for the wheel seals front rims and tha source for brushes for the gen /starter. i just had anothe look at your 1054s they are real neat. also do you have a source for a grill mesh thanking you in advance for your time

SKF (old Chicago Rawhide site) says the 3373 bearing seal in the front wheels of the 953/1054 is a 10035. I have not changed one so I can not say this is the correct number but the SKF/Chicago Rawhide site has always had the correct wheel horse part number in the past for me.

3373

WHEELHORSE

10035

The starter/generator brushes can be purchased on Ebay very reasonably and work well on the Delco starter/generators. I have repalced two sets.

As far as the grill for the 1054 that is a difficult issue.

There are several differnt stamped metals used . The measurements are 12 1/4 inches at the top, 12 inches on eaach side and 10 1/4 along the bottom for any metal sheets used.

I don't know what type of email server you are using, but I use Outlook Express. In Outlook Express, where it says FROM in the heading, it will say RedSquare. Double-click on RedSquare and it will show you his direct email address.
