rustyoldjunk 127 #1 Posted June 9, 2008 i am used to having a cheapo mower to use and my garden tractors are for other chores but i got rid of last craftsman mower right before spring,so the C100 has became my regular mower and i love it.i find there is only one downside.i make more weed eating work for myself as i refuse to shove the wheel horse thru the bushes and low tree limb to mow as close to things as possible like i would with my throw away cheapo mowers.i dont wont to beat up the horse jim
Teddy da Bear 11 #2 Posted June 10, 2008 Glad yours is working well. Mine is on life support until I can figure it out. It should not take long.
HorseFixer 2,013 #3 Posted June 10, 2008 Jim ya need to strap a weed eater on your C-100 and just fire it up and reach in around under those bushes and give um a haircut! As you drive by! Duke
Duff 206 #4 Posted June 10, 2008 Jim ya need to strap a weed eater on your C-100 and just fire it up and reach in around under those bushes and give um a haircut! As you drive by! Duke Duke's onto something here. I work for a college in New Hampshire where many of the guys on the Grounds Crew driving mowers have a weedeater right with them. While some stop, get off and trim, others do indeed just reach in one handed with the trimmer and give things a hair cut as they go by. Not a talent I've developed....at least not yet! Rollerman 290 #5 Posted June 10, 2008 I beleive there is atleast one company marketing a weedeater like that? It mounts at the back of the tractor, is 12V & stays parallel to the deck and swings from side to side with one hand? Guess I'll have to do a search now.
