i am used to having a cheapo mower to use and my garden tractors are for other chores but i got rid of last craftsman mower right before spring,so the C100 has became my regular mower and i love it.i find there is only one downside.i make more weed eating work for myself as i refuse to shove the wheel horse thru the bushes and low tree limb to mow as close to things as possible like i would with my throw away cheapo mowers.i dont wont to beat up the horse  jim

Glad yours is working well.

Mine is on life support until I can figure it out.

It should not take long.

Duke's onto something here. I work for a college in New Hampshire where many of the guys on the Grounds Crew driving mowers have a weedeater right with them. While some stop, get off and trim, others do indeed just reach in one handed with the trimmer and give things a hair cut as they go by. Not a talent I've developed....at least not yet!

I beleive there is atleast one company marketing a weedeater like that?

It mounts at the back of the tractor, is 12V & stays parallel to the deck and swings from side to side with one hand?

Guess I'll have to do a search now.
