got the 854 fired up for the first time today

you all remember the 854 i posted pictures of when i brought it in and then when i put the duals on it.i was told it ran,but hadnt had a chance to try.well today i cleaned the points,primed it and...it fired right up it starts so fast the s/g barely turns before its running and it runs great.it shifts great too,im very impressed with this $25 854.the only down side is the the s/g isnt charging but thats a way easier fix then having to pull the flywheel on a gear drive start model.

Good news! Doesn't it make you feel good when ya get a good deal like that and there is little that needs to be done? Ive had a couple like that but there usually few and far between. Makes the pain of the not so good deals a little bit more tollerable!
