rockbuilt 7 #1 Posted August 2, 2011 I now have 8 hydro cylinders on 3 tractors and attachments 7 out of 8 LEAK!!! how difficult is it to replace the seals and where do I get them?
can whlvr 994 #2 Posted August 3, 2011 if the cylinder is a rebuildable one that comes apart with the snap rings its fairly simple,if its welded then its not so simple,it has to be cut open on a lathe and re welded without burning up the new seals, the parts can be had at a good hyrdolic shop, and im not sure but maybe from the dealer still
smoreau 658 #3 Posted August 3, 2011 That all depends on if they are welded or have a snap ring on the shaft end of the cylinder. What kind do you have?
