71_Bronco 1,072 #1 Posted July 28, 2011 I was washing my Bronco today, and noticed something was missing. The "hockey stick" shaped lift bar, and the chain. The part that the grader blade would attach to if I wanted a "floating" blade instead of down-pressure. Am I really missing something? Or what's the story? TT-(Moderator) 1,162 #2 Posted July 28, 2011 It's not missing. Your tractor is just too old to have one. :woohoo:

So it looks like when I use my grader blade, I will not be able to "float" it unless I retro-fit the newer "floating" arm to my tractor. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing a part or anything. Kelly 1,033 #4 Posted July 28, 2011 Or just hang it with chain.
TT-(Moderator) 1,162 #5 Posted July 28, 2011 It's not the "T" bar that allows the attachment to float - it just makes for tool-less attachment hook-ups. All you'd need for float capability would be the early style through-drilled trunnion / corresponding lift rod or a piece of chain connected between the arm on the lift lever shaft and the attachment. (grader blade - in this case)
