Anyone ever seen / have details for one of these

I'm interested in one of these to suck up grass clippings from a rear discharge deck but can find next to nothing on it!

I believe the model number is 07-31PS01 (powered grass collector) and is a towed Toro / Wheel Horse accessory that sweeps up clippings and leaves.

Thanks for any help you can provide!

The only place I have seen the 07-31PS01 Power Grass Collector is in the attachment list for the R2-12B501 1990 212-5 tractor here

https://lookup3.toro.com/partdex/index.cfm?xCaller=Toro

Did you find the 07-31PS01 model number on the collector?

Hey Darren,

can't provide you with much info on that other than to say it's mounted not trailed, there's no vacuum, it uses brushes to sweep, and it would need a vertical engined tractor to power it. In the UK several makers use that system and they work better than vacuums with wet material. :D :woohoo:

I have a friend who has used lawn sweepers on 3+ acres with a 42" rear discharge deck for 30+ years. The sweepers are affordable and maintenance free.

Thanks for the responses! Although I need a sweeper I can't help thinking a conventional towed one is going to be less hassle than this, particularly in light of what you've said Rex.

As Garry said, it seems pretty specific. That's the only tractor I've seen it mounted to. I'd need to create a hitch and drive method in order to mount it to my 312-8. It'd be an interesting challenge and no doubt a good sweeper if I could get it to work though!

(Garry: The model number was just an educated guess. I noticed a picture of one mounted to a 227-5, so I looked up the listed accessories for that tractor on Toro. 'power sweeper' was the only likely candidate and it *is* belt driven. Unfortunately there's no diagram or parts listed for it though)

Have you seen the 48" deck turbo vacuum bagger? Maybe you could use the pulley arrangement on that to drive that sweeper????

Thanks for that Cole's Dad. I'd been wondering about something like that.. Or I'll bet you could run a belt off of either the centre mowing spindle or, at a pinch, the transmission pulley..
