GunPilot64 0 #1 Posted July 25, 2011 Hi all - I'm posting up because I recently bought this little Wheel Horse. I think it's an RJ 58 but not 100% sure. I rescued it from a dealer that had it under the roof overhang getting rained on The original engine has been replaced with a B&S 5 HP that runs pretty good. It has a homemade snow blade arrangement on it as well. Everything looks pretty good on it - it appears the original fuel filler cap has been welded up on it. Minimal rust and the transmission works fine. I bought it as a little utility tractor but I may consider trading up to one of the bigger WH models as this one is just a little small and should be in a parade I think Here are some pics: Anyway, I appreciate any comments and info about this tractor George - central NE

james 0 #18 Posted July 27, 2011 really nice! I like it. they may be small but you can tow cars with them little guys! lol They are so simple to work on, fix, restore that you could keep this tractor forever as long as it doesn't rot out. I opened my gear box last winter (i have a 61 401) and the gears in the gearbox didn't even have ANY wear marks on them! I'd like to keep mine for my kids, they're way too small to drive them just yet though. You can modify attachments to fit on them very simple and there are lots of neat attachments. they're great because they're small tractors but you can get so much done with them. keep it, fix it and enjoy it. it looks like it's in great shape! also, welcome!
