can whlvr 994 #1 Posted July 25, 2011 so ive been using the 50 dollar 414 for a few months and been working out the bugs,new battery,starter,fuse block,and shes been good accept the float keeps sticking closed so she runs out of fuel,ive taken the carb off 4 times had the bowl off and take everything out,float ,needles,cleaned and inspected and i dont what to look for,is there something about these carbs someone can tell me,do i have to replace the float,rebuild,new carb(which aint happening too soon,no work now so no $)any help would be handy Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
tbbahner 28 #2 Posted July 25, 2011 I've seen where the float needle will develop a burr that will catch on the wall.? Check the pin that holds the float to make sure its smooth and works freely.? Adjust the tab to make sure the float sits level when carb turned upside down.? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
