TT-(Moderator) 1,162 #2 Posted June 8, 2008 Depending on how well this tractor was maintained or how long it sat without being used, you might want to try a "conditioner" in the hydro. If it has ATF and not motor oil, you could try some SeaFoam "Trans Tune". (INFO LINK) It might help loosen a sticking relief valve, as well as clean the plungers and bores for smoother operation of the pump. (providing that is the actual problem) The last resort would be to partially disassemble the hydro unit and soak the valves in cleaning solvent, blow out with compressed air, and reassemble. The last time I tried the BJ Hydraulics link it was "dead", so you might have to find an alternative source for the seal kit. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
