shootinok 15 #1 Posted July 17, 2011 Found me a C-120 the PO says the transmission went out several years ago so he left it under a tree. Now the engine is seized up and i got it for a great deal! Now for the Question.... Is the motor normally attached offset on one side of the 120?? The right side (left side of picture) is bolted from underneath... My C121 has the rubber mounts - this just doesn't look right What is missing here ??
Martin 2,130 #2 Posted July 17, 2011 ive noticed that on several others ive seen. i dont have one of these tractors so i cant help you. i am interested in hearing from somebody with an answer as well. maybe its bolted from underneath as the mounting holes from the top overhang the frame. mack 904 3 #4 Posted July 18, 2011 The C-121 has a shallow oil pan to make up for the Height difference with the rubber mounts so the belt will be at proper height. Measure the oil pan only on both motors and you will see what I mean.
mack 904 3 #5 Posted July 18, 2011 The solid mount has 2 bolts up from the bottom. Its for correct belt alignment.
Mike in Esko 34 #6 Posted July 18, 2011 For what it's worth, my C-120 is also exactly like this...the pulley side is bolted from underneath and the flywheel side has two bolts down. Mike
