wheeledhorseman 579 #2 Posted July 16, 2011 I have one but it's attached to my 227-5 and used for mowing. They do come up on ebay from time to time, i bid on one a couple of months back. I should have put a higher max bid on it but I wasn't sure at the time what sort of money they went for. Sorry I can't help but the 227-5 is a great tractor so be patient and a deck will turn up. I have the original owner's manual for the tractor and for the cutting deck. I've already scanned them for another owner, if you want a copy of either of these send me a pm and I can email them to you. timmybobwatt 0 #3 Posted July 16, 2011 I've kind of decided that I want the challenge of putting the Simplicty deck that I have onto the 227-5... No modifications will be made to the tractor itself, only to the cutting deck.
