Going to look at a C-165 tomorrow. Owner states the flywheel came loose and messed up the keyway in the crank. From the pictures it looks to be in good shape. He's asking 100.00. I'll have an update tomorrow. It's about a 200 mile round trip. What are your thoughts on the C-165?

Won't be going to get the tractor after all. Had a gentlemans agreement with the seller that I would be there tomorrow to pickup the tractor. We had agreed on price and time I would be there to pick it up. Just got an email from the seller saying sorry I just sold it to someone else. I hate the way some people do business on CL. :woohoo:

not to sound funny or rude, but title here says "going to look" and not going to pickup or buy? maybe wasn't as clear with seller as you thought you were? either way sorry to hear you're not getting it.

Happy ending after all. I ended up purchasing a C-105 from RedSquare member RedBird's husband Dave. Now the hunt is on for parts. It has no engine so I'd like to find a 12 HP or larger to install. The addiction to these tractors just keeps getting worse :woohoo:
