JC 1965 1,532 #1 Posted July 11, 2011 I just got an old C-120 I think ( model tag is missing). The tractor has A 12 hp kohler Spec # 47421-D engine. I want to put that engine on my 1979 C-81 Model # 91-08K802 8 hp engine spec ##0700D. The 8 hp sets in an engine cradle, I know that the cradle will have to be removed. My question is, will the 12hp kohler bolt to the frame of the C-81 tractor? Trying to get others opinion before I remove the 8hp engine. Hope this makes sense. Any help greatly appreciated!! :woohoo:
TT-(Moderator) 1,162 #2 Posted July 11, 2011 100% no-hassle, bolt-on swap. The holes are even already in the frame. :woohoo:
rmaynard 16,333 #3 Posted July 11, 2011 You will need a few things for the PTO like the lower support, and a longer hoop.
