Wim 0 #9 Posted July 11, 2011 My pictures are to big to put on site. Can anybody help me to get them smaller?
WH Raider10 17 #10 Posted July 11, 2011 Wim, Upload U foto's op photobucket en plaats ze dan op het forum. Dit werkt zeer goed. Pieter-Jan :woohoo:
wheeledhorseman 579 #11 Posted July 11, 2011 Hi Wim Most forums do not allow you to upload photos to the forum itself. The best thing to do is to set up an account at Photobucket - it's free. Photobucket.com You can upload photos and store them there. While you are making a post that will include photos it is a good idea to have a second tab open on your browser with the image you want to include from photobucket on display in it. Copy the url from the address bar of the tab with the photo in it. (eg Photobucket) Switch to the tab where you are making the post (RedSquare) To include the photo use the image button Your browser may ask if you want to allow scripting - yes you do. A pop up appears where you can enter the url of where your photo can be found. Paste it into the Script Prompt pop up. Click OK and the code will be inserted into your post. I use 800 x 600 resolution for photos to be used on the forum. They are big enough to see detail and load pretty quickly. If you use higher resolution I believe the forum scales them down to fit but you can click on them to see them full size. The higher the resolution the slower a photo will be to load. Hope this helps. ps If you delete a photo from Photobucket that has been used in a post then it will no longer show up in the post. There are lots of examples of where people have done this in RedSquare - which can be annoying and frustrating.
Wim 0 #12 Posted July 12, 2011 Okay, let's give it a try. some photo's are from accesoires that i had to buy in a packet with the snowthrower. The B115 i bought for the snow shovel (is a lot of work on it) Foto's are quickly taken so sorry for the poor quality. When i have better ones, i'll post them. WH Raider10 17 #14 Posted July 12, 2011 Wim, Very nice C-165 you have there! And also the B-115,I've seen that one for sale. I'm looking to find a big snow plow to fit my 312 or raider,... Very nice snowblower also!!! I would love to have on like yours and they sure are rare in Belgium. Pieter-Jan :woohoo:
wheeledhorseman 579 #15 Posted July 12, 2011 Well done Wim - we love to see photos. Nice 's and kit you've got there. :woohoo:
Wim 0 #16 Posted July 13, 2011 @ Pieter Jan To be honest, the snowblower i was surprised to find in Belgium. Knowing it is a rare piece around here, i was suprised to see one for sale. So when i saw it, i couldn't hesitate and had to buy it. Unfortenatly a week earlier i had bought the b 115. So now I have to see which one works best, and i'll probably sell the other one. the b 115 doesn't have it's original engine, but a new B&S 12 HP that starts great, no fumes,... Concerning pictures 9-10-11; i have no idea what they are for, nor do i have the pieces that go with it. so if anyone is intereseted, or willing to trade, contact me Also the orange trailer can part (pic 5) (had to buy everything together with the snow blower) @ wheeled horseman, Thanx but euhm, what do you mean by "kt"? :D
wheeledhorseman 579 #17 Posted July 13, 2011 :woohoo: Sorry Wim, your english is so good that I forgot it is not your main language. The word 'kit' can be used to describe many things, it can be something that you have to put together yourself from parts or it can mean the tools or equipment needed to do a job. So, when I say 'a nice bit of kit' I mean good equipment to do a job, particularly your s and the snow equipment. To complete the story 'kit' can also be used for clothes, so 'football kit' is the clothing you need to play football, a bit like equipment you need to do a particular job it can be used to describe clothes for a particular use. WH Raider10 17 #18 Posted July 13, 2011 Wim, If you ever sell the snow blower, let me know and I'll buy it. Pieter-Jan
Wim 0 #19 Posted July 13, 2011 Okay thanks again for the compliment. I don't use my english very much, so this is a welcome exercise. @Pieter Jan, I'm doubting. will the blower be effective with 5cm-10cm of snow? And if I knew that the lifting rod was missing it would have been better for the price negotiations but, I needed to have that snowthrower :D
wh1257 226 #20 Posted July 13, 2011 here wim ( dit is de stang die normaal moet dienen voor de blower omhoog en omlaag te doen)

farmer 1,081 #25 Posted July 14, 2011 Hello Wim and of course, First may I say your English is excellent, a credit to you. As to your question about the effectiveness of your snowthrower dealing with light snowfalls, I'd say it's all about how much room you've got ..... to get rid of it. If your limited for space, and the weather is set in for a long period I would "swathe" up the snow with your blade on one tractor, then blow it away with the other. This way you've got enough snow for the thrower to work properly, and you get to "play" with both attachments. :D
