Help needed with D series manual pto

I'm restoring a D-200 and have the majority of the pto clutch parts including the linkage. The bits came in a bag having been taken off the tractor some years ago.

The toro site diagram shows how it goes together but not how the clutch bar actually mounts to the engine . I'm missing the hook assembly (1) and the spring (4) and can't work out exactly what these should be attached to. The bracket on the engine which I assume was part of all this has been welded, a bodge repair that didn't work hence, I guess, the mystery and the fact that the parts never went back on the tractor.

It would be really helpful if someone could post some photos of the correct arrangement as viewed from the front of the tractor through the grille or better still with the grille lifted out.

Spot on

I've printed the photos to take out to the workshop. I can see already that it was the hook that broke off resulting in a bodged bracket being made. I'll have to see if I can do a better job. :woohoo:
