persof 14 #1 Posted June 28, 2011 I need the hydraulic hoses to the lift cylinder for my 1979 C-161a, part #s 106420 & 106421. After visiting three local shops, I sent my original C-161a hoses to discounthydraulichoses.com and I cannot use any of what they sent me. The hose from the valve to the front of the lift cyl might be able to fit if I cut some sheet metal, route it differently and make the hose 3/8 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Sarge 3,462 #2 Posted June 28, 2011 All I've done in the past with my units was to buy the correct adapters and build new hoses with reusable ends. Not sure what ports on the C-161, maybe E or TT could help with that . I do know the older Sundstrands used male straight thread o-ring boss fittings so that was the adapters I've bought (ORB-straight). The adapters simply allowed me to use standard JIC fittings for the hose ends so they have a swivel . Some were a bit of a tight fit , but all works fine and looks good .
