i'm gonna take a few things and part out the rest.

it needs too much for me to get it back up and going.

Shame who ever had this C-141 cut the cables and destroyed the wiring harness. It would of made a great project. Guess you can't save them all. :woohoo:

I just noticed this C-141 has solid rear wheels. Any one else notice that?

i'm wondering about this solid rear wheel thing i've been reading here lately.

this is my 4th horse and all have had solid rear wheels.

hhmm i thought they were the norm. maybe not.

did the early 1960's or 80's and newer models have different wheels?.

all mine have been late 60's to late 70's.

OK, for those of us who are admitted idiots, what do you mean by "solid" rear wheels? :woohoo:

Duff if you look at the rear wheels on the C-141 pictured in this thread, they are a one piece wheel.

Now look at the rear wheels on my 244-H. Notice how they are a 2 piece wheel, thus they are not considered solid.

Could the "solid" wheel thing have something to do with the additional width?

Either way, I like em.

ok i see now.

i looked at my c-160 again and it has the 2 piece wheels (i thought they were solid).

the 2 piece wheels have the center section welded to the outer hoop.

Deere had some solid center rear wheels in 1969. They were on the Custom Color (or patio) tractors. Maybe those rims are from one of those. It's got ag tires... people like to buy/sell/trade/swap those around.
