Guest #26 Posted June 27, 2011 From what I remember reading in machine design literature peak crank and wrist pin forces can max out at low speeds for certain bore/stroke/rod length engine designs and you may introduce higher fatigue load cycles by letting the engine putt about at low speeds continuously.
