Is there a big difference between the Kohler fuel pumps and the aftermarket ones? other than $20? Its for the 418.

Other than the packaging, I'm going to say no.

They're all plastic now - and probably made by the same company in China or Japan. :WRS:

If an OEM aluminum pump interests you, I might know someone who has a new one. :hide:

Does your fuel pump look like this?:

As-is / no box. $45 shipped..... PM me if you're interested.

Well I found out its was not the pump. There was a hole in the fuel line I put on about one month ago. The hole was between the block and the frame, no where near any thing to put a hole in it. No smell pf gas. I am stumped on that one.

TT, thanks for the offer. but it look like I wont be needing one. Maybe I should pick on up just because, how long will that sit on a self before it drys out?

It should be good as long as no gas is run through it. I should probably vacuum seal some of this stuff though.

Is it my imagination or is the top installed 90 degrees off?

You're seeing it right.

Easy way to ID the pumps for KT & M series twins. :hide:
