Martin 2,130 #6 Posted June 15, 2011 i love my 875. great little tractor. excellent turning circle. the k181b is getting tired but still is a good little engine. the 875 has the hydro trans. great for mowing.
Kelly 1,028 #7 Posted June 15, 2011 854, 855, 875, 856, 876, 857, 877, 867, commando 8, and I probably forgot at least one, all had 8hp kohler starter gen. engines, and for a 8hp are pretty powerful, and I love how a starter gen engine starts so quietly. Oh ya if you want to include briggs the 800 specials and A-90 had a 8hp briggs starter gen. engine.
boovuc 1,090 #8 Posted June 15, 2011 I have an 856 and a 600 series with an 8 horse in it. (K181). I love them. They are fun to drive and easy to work on! This one still needs a rebuild and restored. This is an 856. (1967) There are other that are powered by the K181. Others will chime in. BooVuc Mill Hall, PA
